What a peaceful retreat for our family! The onsen was a hit with the kids, especially the outdoor one with beautiful mountain views. We enjoyed a delightful kaiseki dinner together, and the staff even made accommodations for our dietary restrictions. It was truly a memorable experience.
My children wished there were more kid-friendly meal options available.

great experience with minor seating issues
The Japanese-style room with an open-air bath provided a unique and intimate atmosphere. The views of the surrounding mountains while soaking in the onsen were breathtaking. The kindness of the staff made our stay truly memorable.
The limited seating in the common areas felt uncomfortable during peak times.

The ryokan offers a tranquil escape with its stunning architecture, seamlessly combining traditional Japanese design and modern comforts. Our room featured a beautiful view with a private bath, making our stay incredibly relaxing. The dining experience stood out with exquisitely prepared meals, especially the homemade dishes that felt like Michelin-star quality. However, common area seating could be more comfortable, and accessibility might be a challenge for older guests due to the low seating arrangements. The staff were attentive but lacked familiarity with the room's facilities, making our experience slightly less enjoyable.

The Deluxe Japanese-Style House, Annex 'Kakou' features a unique blend of traditional design and modern amenities, offering an authentic stay. Its location is picturesque, providing stunning views of the natural landscape that make for a serene escape.
While the setting is beautiful, some facilities need attention. The private onsen, although relaxing, lacks sufficient privacy due to nearby walkways, making it awkward. Additionally, the bathroom fixtures showed considerable wear, and the overall cleanliness didn’t meet the expectations considering the price point. Dining experienced delays, feeling rushed at times, which detracted from the enjoyment of meals meant to be savored.

While the ambiance was generally lovely , some areas in the hotel showed wear and required maintenance. Additionally, there were occasional disturbances from noise outside.
